Get to know the SIT organization better!
The SIT organization was established in 2008 in Prishtina in order to conduct research mainly in the socio-economic fields.
In 2019, SIT expanded its goals and objectives by splitting into three departments: counseling center, social services and research. The expansion of SIT into three departments was done with the aim of creating a non-violent, healthier and more inclusive society in Kosovo.
SIT has been working with young people of all backgrounds, women, and other marginalized groups for 12 years now with the ultimate goal to promote and create an equal society for all.
Thus, we address some of the most challenging human rights issues in our society that prevent us from achieving equality, peace, and development, including domestic violence and gender-based violence. We aim to achieve this by including people of all backgrounds, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or any other category of identity.
