DoYou(th) project – SIT and THINK

The DoYou(th) project, coordinated by SIT – Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, unites six dedicated partners from Kosovo, Albania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, and the Netherlands. Together, they are shaping a regional movement that empowers young people to become active citizens and changemakers across the Western Balkans.

Over two years (2024–2026), DoYou(th) focuses on building the capacity, competence, and recognition of youth organizations (CSOs) by promoting innovative Non-Formal Education (NFE) tools that engage, connect, and empower young people—especially young women and minorities in remote areas.

Main Goals

Strengthen the capacities of youth CSOs through training, mentoring, and strategy development.
Create innovative NFE materials that inspire youth through Artivism, Doughnut Economy, and Social Entrepreneurship.
Build strong local and regional ecosystems linking youth, education, business, and local authorities.
Empower more than 140 young people to take leadership roles in their communities.

Key Activities

Online Training Cycles: 12 interactive online sessions focused on 21st-century skills, EU values, and innovative learning approaches.
Artivism and Creativity: Youth workers and participants use art and storytelling to promote active citizenship and inclusion.
Doughnut Economy Workshops: Introducing sustainable economic models that combine environmental and social responsibility.
Social Entrepreneurship Challenge: A transnational online event connecting 30 young innovators from the Western Balkans to co-create business ideas with social impact.
Brain Gain Summits: Four national summits gathering over 120 stakeholders from education, business, and municipalities to foster collaboration and sign Memorandums of Understanding.
Global Visibility: Youth workers “Take the Stage” during MasterPeace global webinars and EU bootcamps, connecting with changemakers from over 15 European countries.
Inspiring Outputs: 20 youth-led community projects, 20 podcasts, 20 short videos, and 26 published stories that highlight creativity, inclusion, and innovation.

Vizioni ynë

By the end of the project, DoYou(th) will have created a strong regional network of youth organizations that cooperate across borders, share best practices, and continue to promote positive change beyond the project’s lifetime.

Through creativity, innovation, and collaboration, the project aspires to inspire a new generation of active citizens—young people who are not only beneficiaries of change but leaders of transformation.
