The Publication of Data on the Inclusion of the “Life Skills Education” Subject in High Schools

On the 30th of June 2020, the Be a Man Club will present results of the research conducted in the Western Balkans as part of the project “Young Men Initiative’’ upon the inclusion of the Life Skills as a subject in High Schools. Be a Man Club will show these results through the activity called “Polling Research Street Action’’.

This activity will take place in a part of the “Skënderbeu’’ square with the results presented in the form of graphs on some platforms on the street. The activity will start at 09:00 and end at 17:00.

The data of this research were gathered through May-June 2019 with a total of 2500 young people, parents, teachers, professionals, NGO representatives, media representatives, and employers. The questionnaire used asked the respondents about their opinion on education for life skills.

This activity is realized within the project “Men and Boys as Partners in Promoting Gender Equality and the Prevention of Youth Extremism and Violence in the Balkans”, implemented by CARE International Balkans in partnership with SIT – Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research and YMCA in Kosovo and supported by Austrian Development Agency, and Oak Foundation.
