Stories of Change!

Like all youngsters who are enthusiastic to share their stories, so is Edona, a “Be a Man” Club member who has decided to share her story with all of us. She even named her story “Small Steps, Great Changes”!

Edona’s story begins with the change in her behavior which also reflected in her circle of family and friends after some time of being active in the club. She recalls and describes herself before and after becoming part of YMI project activities.

Now, Edona lives a life with no prejudice, violence, and labeling. Through her activism, she delivers a message that everyone should be equal in society.

This story has been prepared within the project “Men and Boys as Partners in Promoting Gender Equality and the Prevention of Youth Extremism and Violence in the Balkans”, implemented by CARE International Balkans in partnership with SIT – Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research and YMCA in Kosovo and supported by Austrian Development Agency, and Oak Foundation.
