SIT representative attended the Beijing+25 Review Meeting in Geneva

SIT as a member of MenEngage Europe represented the youth of MenEngage with our delegate Njomzë Berisha that attended the #Beijing25 Review Meeting in Geneva!

25 years after the Beijing World Conference on women, more than 500 CSO representatives came together in Geneva from all around the world for stocktaking, forward-looking the strategies and to commemorate the Platform for Action.

Governments, CSOs and international institutions and MenEngage Alliance delegation will follow the meetings in order to discuss: what are our achievements, what gaps remain and what are our emerging and imminent issues, 25 years after Beijing? And, is it time now to work with men and boys and engage them in our journey to achieve gender justice and to transform toxic masculinity?

We have only 10 years left to reach #SDGs, including #Goal5, & Beijing Platform for Action still presents a strong roadmap. Let’s discuss accomplishments, remaining gaps, emerging issues and let’s work with men and boys for an equal society!
