Officially, SIT is now part of the Coordination Mechanism Against Domestic Violence in the Municipality of Prishtina. In this case, we held an advocacy meeting with representatives from the Directorate for Labor and Social Welfare, Kosovo Police, Health Directorate, State Prosecutor’s Office, Basic Court, Legal Aid Agency, and Prishtina Victims Advocate, and OSCE Representative. We introduced SIT programs, the importance of violence prevention, and professional capacity building and knowledge in working with violent men and women based on international standards of violence perpetrators counseling.
