The Institutionalization of the Program Y – Youth
In cooperation with CARE International in the Balkans and YMCA, SIT held the first informative meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation of Kosovo and representatives of other public institutions. This meeting was held to draft a guide containing the Program Y – Youth’s topics and institutionalize this program.
Kadri Gashi – Executive Director at SIT, presented the past phases of the project and the achieved outcomes. He also explained the purpose of the “Future4Youth” project along with the project programs and statistics from previous stages.
During this meeting, Ema Rraci – Project Coordinator at CARE International, office in Kosovo, presented the project “Future4Youth” and the piloting and content of the programs that this project contains.
Furthermore, Mrs. Vjollca Krasniqi, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” drafted the “Guideline – Situation Analysis and Journey for the Institutionalisation of the Y Program” and took some moments to present.
During this meeting, suggestions were given by representatives of the Agency for Gender Equality, professors, and quality coordinators in Education. Continuously we will organize regular meetings and workshops until the guideline and strategy for the institutionalization of the Y – Youth Program are finalized.
This activity is implemented within YMI – Young Men Initiative – “Future for You(th): Young People as Leaders of Life Skills Education in the Balkans”, financed by the Austrian Development Agency and OAK Foundation and is implemented by CARE International in Balkans in cooperation with SIT.
