Therefore, we address some of the most challenging human rights issues in our society that hinder us from achieving equality, peace, and development &#8211; including domestic violence and gender-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more about SIT, visit:<a href=\"https:\/\/sit-ks.org\/sq\/\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/sit-ks.org\/sq\/\">www.sit-ks.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SIT &#8211; Center for Counseling, Social Services, and Research is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual for the &#8220;Community Facilitator&#8221; position within the framework of the project &#8220;Empowering Kosovo\u2019s Youth for Intra-community Cohesion&#8221;. We are looking for a skilled professional to provide effective support in all project phases, including participant selection from North Mitrovica and coordinating activities with relevant stakeholders until December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This call is posted within the framework of the &#8220;Empowering Kosovo\u2019s Youth for Intra-community Cohesion&#8221; project implemented by SIT. This project is supported by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, represented by the Swedish Embassy in Kosovo (Sida).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Responsible for overall project implementation assistance;<\/li><li>Assist in organizing and implementing project activities to achieve project objectives;<\/li><li>Support the team to maintain the workflow on track;<\/li><li>Maintain continuous contact with project participants;<\/li><li>Maintain regular communication with the relevant project coordinator regarding activity progress;<\/li><li>Conduct meetings, trainings, workshops, campaigns, and other necessary activities on gender equality, human rights, violence prevention, mental health promotion, life skills, conflict management, ethnic tolerance, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Experience in the civil society sector for at least 2 years;<\/li><li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree (or in progress) in social sciences;<\/li><li>Knowledge of peacebuilding; conflict resolution; intracommunity cohesion; youth empowerment; social entrepreneurship; human rights; and climate.<\/li><li>Ability to manage work in stressful situations, teamwork, managerial skills;<\/li><li>Proficiency in English is essential!<\/li><li>Young people from minority communities living and working in North Mitrovica are encouraged to apply!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submit the following documents to: apply@sit-ks.org<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>CV (2 pages maximum);<\/li><li>A motivational letter no more than one page (in English);<\/li><li>At least one reference from your previous employer from similar engagements.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application deadline<\/strong>: December 4, 2023.
