{"id":4103,"date":"2023-01-19T09:43:33","date_gmt":"2023-01-19T09:43:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sit-ks.org\/?p=4103"},"modified":"2023-01-19T12:13:20","modified_gmt":"2023-01-19T12:13:20","slug":"dialogue-for-peace-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sit-ks.org\/sq\/dialogue-for-peace-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Dialog p\u00ebr Paqe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;Dialogue for Peace&#8221; project targeted youth of diverse ethnicities from the municipalities of Fush\u00eb Kosova, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, and North Mitrovica. The project&#8217;s main goal was to work with youth to make them strong advocates to fight stereotypes and ethnic-based prejudices. In the span of 10 months, there were 11 in-person meetings with the project beneficiaries, where different workshops were held. Besides, fun activities such as bowling, movie night, and youth camp were developed to increase social cohesion among the participants.<br><br>Apart from these, English language courses were also offered for free for six months. Project participants and others could join speaking clubs and beginner classes to enhance their English speaking and comprehension skills.\u00a060 participants benefited from either speaking clubs or beginner classes. All those who attended beginner classes entered the final test and received their certificates according to the level they had completed and the results shown in the final test.<br><br>The project also aimed to implement some community initiatives based on the demands and needs assessed by the beneficiaries in the given municipality. Two public parks and sports fields were renovated in North and South Mitrovica multi-ethnic areas.
